About the Journal

J-ECOSITE is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research, technical papers, and critical reviews across all core disciplines of civil engineering. Positioned as a prominent research edition, the journal focuses on integrating engineering advancements with sustainable practices to build a resilient and eco-friendly future. The journal serves as an international platform for academicians, researchers, civil engineers, and practitioners to share innovative solutions, experimental studies, and theoretical frameworks that drive infrastructure development forward.

Journal Scope

J-ECOSITE invites original, unpublished manuscripts that contribute to the progress of modern infrastructure and environmental sustainability. The journal specifically covers the following five core research areas:

  • Structural Engineering Advanced structural analysis, design methodologies, smart materials, structural health monitoring, concrete technology, and innovative retrofitting techniques);
  • Geotechnical Engineering (Soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability, rock engineering, underground structures, and geotechnical hazard mitigation);
  • Transportation Engineering (Pavement design and materials, traffic engineering, sustainable urban transport systems, highway planning, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS));
  • Water Resources Engineering (Hydrology, hydraulic structures, water resource management, eco-hydraulics, flood mitigation, coastal engineering, and climate change impacts on water systems);
  • Construction Management and Material (Project scheduling, cost optimization, construction risk assessment, occupational safety and health (OSH), and the development of eco-friendly, green, and sustainable construction materials).
